SkillsFuture Level-Up Program: Reboot Your Career for a Changing Economy

The SkillsFuture Level-Up Program is designed to provide mid-career Singaporeans aged 40 and older with comprehensive support for skills development, ensuring they remn relevant in today's dynamic economy.

Financial Support for Course Fees

As of May 1, 2024, the program offers an enhanced SkillsFuture Credit Mid-Career worth $4,000 to further offset course fee expenses. This credit can be utilized across approximately 7,000 courses that focus on substantial skill upgrading and reskilling, including:

• Full qualifications at institutions of higher learning, and shorter modules leading towards full qualification.

• Ministry of Education-subsidized full qualifications from arts institutions like the University of the Arts Singapore.

• SkillsFuture Career Transition Program SCTP – trn-and-place initiatives in sectors with robust hiring prospects.

• Courses aligned with trning requirements for Progressive Wage Model PWM-regulated sectors.

• Workplace Literacy and Numeracy programs.

Additionally, starting from Academic Year 2025:

• Enhanced Eligibility: All Singaporeans will have the opportunity to receive subsidies on full-time diploma programs funded by SkillsFuture Singapore or Ministry of Education courses, with a cap of up to 90 coverage for both.

Support for Full-Time, Long-Form Trning

From early 2025:

• SkillsFuture Mid-Career Trning Allowance: A new allowance will be avlable for individuals enrolling in selected full-time trning programs. Based on 50 of one's average income over the last year, capped at $3,000 per month, this support can ext up to a maximum of $72,000 across an individual's lifetime.
