China Development Research Foundation CDRF recently partnered with Shenzhen Polytechnic University to host the 8th Vocational School Principals Trning Course from October 17-21, 2023. This event med to enhance principals' educational philosophies and catalyze reforms within vocational education institutions across China.
Representatives from CDRF's Child Development Research Institute and Shenzhen Polytechnic University's Deputy Secretary of the School of Continuing Education and Trning, Shi Lijia and Huang Biao respectively, graced the opening ceremony with inspiring speeches. The gathering of 44 principals and senior educators provided a comprehensive learning platform for discussions on key issues including integrated vocational education reforms, capacity building strategies in schools, among others.
The course featured expert lectures from leading figures in vocational education, field visits to exemplary institutions and enterprises, and interactive teaching sessions that collectively helped participants gn insights into the evolving landscape of vocational education. They comprehed policy directions, explored synergies between general and vocational education integration, as well as the alignment of vocational education with industry needs.
Vocational schools play a pivotal role in talent development and economic growth, making principals indispensable drivers for their school's success and student outcomes. This trning not only enriched their educational philosophies and leadership capabilities but also sparked innovative perspectives on China's vocational education landscape.
The participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to delve into deep teaching reforms, elevate the quality of vocational education, contribute to nurturing skilled professionals, and foster sustnable development in this field.
