The School of Professional Studies SPS is excited to welcome Komal Shah Ed.M., as the new Associate Director of Career Services and Professional Development. Her expertise enhance the career development journey for our diverse community of early-career professionals and master's students.

With her impressive background, which includes a Master of Education in Counseling from Boston University BU, and over five years of experience at BU where she spearheaded initiatives like one-on-one counseling sessions, assessments, workshops, and large-scale career frs for the College of Engineering, Shah is poised to make significant contributions. Her commitment to student success has been evident throughout her career.

At SPS, Komal will undertake various responsibilities designed to support master's students in their professional growth journey. She'll focus on developing strategic initiatives that cater specifically to the unique needs of these students, empowering them with necessary skills for navigating today's competitive job market. My priority is to create opportunities and pathways that master's students can explore as they start thinking about their careers, she shared.
