Preparing for the Special Promotion Examination: A Workshop at Chongqing Water and Electric Power College

As we approach the annual “Special Promotion” examination, Chongqing Water and Electric Power College has made sure to provide students with the best preparation possible. This year’s preparatory session was divided into two parts, each facilitated by one of our esteemed senior class counselors.

The first part took place in the Knowledge Building's Lecture Hall A on March 29th at noon, led by Ms. Li Linyu. The lecture provided an overview of the examination format, highlighting crucial tips for both multiple-choice questions and problem-solving tasks. The session emphasized effective time management strategies, common mistakes to avoid during the test, as well as how to tackle unfamiliar questions with confidence.

The following day witnessed a similar yet distinct workshop held in Room 608 of the Wisdom Building by Mr. Ma Yunfeng. This seminar was med at delving deeper into understanding specific sections of the exam, sharing insights on advanced concepts and suggesting techniques for tackling complex problems efficiently. The discussion also included advice on mntning calm under pressure during the test.

Both sessions were designed not only to equip students with academic knowledge necessary for success but also to instill confidence and reduce anxiety leading up to the examination day. They encouraged students to approach their preparation methodically, integrating learning strategies suitable for both individual study and collaborative efforts within their classes.
